Chris Winslet
Chris is often to be seen (and heard) in the band for our musical shows - but every so often he can be tempted on stage, He first trod the boards in 1982 for out festival success Maurice Dancing. Five years later he strutted his stuff in Chicago. He played the long-suffering Mr Ames in our 100th production - Chorus of Disapproval, A. He made a rotund Mr Bumble in Oliver! and a nicely nasty Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls.
We were delighted when in 2010 he agreed to be musical director of All that JazZ - an A - Z of Musicals. The following year he was MD of a superb band for our triumphant 42nd Street. He was responsible for the musical direction of our vibrant productions of Crazy For You and Nine to Five.
