Jenny Powell
As a child Jenny appeared in two RDG productions - Man of the Moment and The Visit. Her first major adult appearance was as one of the glamorous showgirls in Copacabana. Her next appearance was in the award-winning Interview, the first production from the RDG Youth Theatre workshop in 2005. A month later she appeared as one the nurses in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - a great contrast to her role as Alice in the twenties musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2006. Autumn 2008 was a very busy time for Jenny as appeared in the award-winning Youth production of Find Me, followed by by her feisty performance in our hugely popular musical Mack and Mabel. Jenny gave some fine vocal performances in All that JazZ - an A - Z of Musicals - following which he featured in our exuberant musical Crazy For You. In 2015 Jen scored a big hit in the Dolly Parton role in Nine to Five and an equally successful performance as the delightful Polly Peachum in The Beggar's Opera in 2016.
