Louise Dangel

22 appearances in RDG productions

As a child Louise was a very keen member of the Sundowners Youth Group along with her sister, Helen Skinner. She made her first main RDG appearance as a child in Lark Rise in 1987. Her first main adult role was as Nancy in our second presentation of Oliver! in 1994. Her strong singing voice has featured in most of our succeeding musicals: More to Love, Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, A, Songs of the Century and Dear Diary.

The group is delighted that in the past few years Louise has taken over the Directing of the Sundowners Youth Group - thus instilling a love of theatre in a new generation of young people.

Louise made a triumphant success in the title role of our musical presentation of Sweet Charity and followed this up by playing a feisty Conchita in Copacabana. In 2006 she gave an effervescent performance in the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie.

She was one of the featured singers in our musical compilation ~ All that JazZ - an A - Z of Musicals. She went on to direct our summer Show Choir presentations.

After a short break Louise happily returned to play one of the leading roles in our popular musical Nine to Five.
